On a sunny Canada day long weekend the Trout Unlimited hosted their weekly  “TUC- On- Location”  event in Lowville Park.

Kids of all ages and even a few adults enjoyed free casting lessons and landing scores of wooden fish at Crazy Casting! TUC on location is happening every Saturday from 1-3pm in Lowville Park in Burlington, ON.  TUC summer students  also conducted a habitat assessment of the rehabilitated portions of Bronte Creek within Lowville. The habitat assessment allows us to see how the aquatic habitat has improved from the physical restoration of the river.

As the crew worked up Bronte Creek, they fielded many questions from curious onlookers about the creek and even found time to splash around with some kids.  Fun was had by all!
