Lethbridge YFR Barbeque

A good time was had by all, on the evening of August 12, 2012  at the Yellow Fish Road™ (YFR) appreciation  BBQ at the Elks Recreation area in Lethbridge.

Thanks to the over 50 volunteers from  school and community  groups to young families, who volunteered for the YFR spring/summer program.

Under the direction of Erik Pomamar, Educational Program Assistant, with the City of Lethbridge,  over 200 people were committed to protecting the waters of the Oldman Watershed by painting over 350 stormdrains and hanging 1,100 doorhangers. The City of Lethbridge is one of over 40 YFR partners across the country  helping to reduce non-point source pollution, one of the leading causes of water pollution in Canada.

Thanks Lethbridge!
