TUC Workday at Bronte Creek

On Tuesday, August 14th Trout Unlimited Canada hosted a workday on Bronte creek in Lowville Park, Burlington.

Eight dedicated volunteers, led by TUC staff members participated in some vigorous habitat enhancement work as well as a stream side tree plant.  Trees planted were grown from seeds by Mr. Moskal's class at King's Road Public School in Burlington.  Many thanks to these young conversationalists!

Everyone involved had a great time learning about, and taking part in Trout Unlimited Canada's ongoing restoration efforts within the park.

Thank you to all that attended.  Many volunteer workdays are planned for this fall so please stay tuned for more information.
