(Applied Aquatics and Trout Unlimited Canada)

Rivers located along the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains are under increasing pressure from various stakeholder groups as well as increased angling pressure. Cooperative efforts with TUC and Alberta Sustainable Resource Development (ASRD) have allowed problems in these areas to be addressed directly. The results of these projects will be valuable to groups including local watershed organizations, TUC, ASRD, and members of the communities located on the study rivers.

The support from The Coldwater Conservation Fund has initiated projects that will surely become annual events that will continue to attract local attention, community involvement, and hopefully, the continued conservation of these valuable watersheds.
